A guarantee is perhaps the most vital part of every housepainting estimate, so it is important to read it over carefully. Many painting contractors will claim to "guarantee" their work, but what they actually offer is a "workmanship warranty".
When getting a housepainting estimate, be wary of phrases such as "we guarantee that if any paint job should fail due to improper workmanship" or "we can not guarantee that paint will not fail on areas where damage was caused by water or rotted wood". Because the cause of peeling paint could arguably be water or moisture related, many painting contractor's guarantees are essentially worthless to the customer.

Campus Corps will perform warranty work regardless of the cause of the paint failure and will repaint the peeling areas at no cost to the customer for the period of the warranty. One latex finish coat is warranted for 2 years, and two latex finish coats for 3 years. Porch decks and steps are excluded. For an additional cost, the warranty will be extended for an additional 2 years. Gutterwork and customer supplied materials are not eligible for extended warranty and are warranted for a maximum of 2 years, regardless of the number of finish coats applied.

All material and work is guaranteed to be as specified. Our workers are covered by workers compensation and property damage insurance. Contractor shall abide by all state and federal labor laws.
Oil based finish coats cannot be guaranteed due to pending EPA regulations which will make future use/manufacture of these products illegal.
